Sailors with disABILITIES offer a Winds of Joy Program which is designed to give children with disability and disadvantaged children and youth the opportunity to go sailing. Through our crew, SWD are able to provide positive role models, demonstrating that people with a disability do not have to be confined by it and creating optimism. This program is run entirely by volunteers and there is no cost to participants for this activity. Group bookings of minimum 10 with at least 8 with disability/special needs and a maximum of 3 wheelchairs including can be booked by school or community groups. If you are one of our authorised crew members and would like to crew, please follow the steps as per above and add your name to the crew list. All crew should register their intention at least 2 weeks prior to their intended sail and be at the boat 1 hour prior to the sail time listed for boat call.

Wright of Passage Orientation

To be held at Woolwich Dock, Clarke Road, Woolwich, NSW 2110. 

This information session is for all prospective Wright of Passage students, volunteers and collaborators to join together and get a working brief on the program and its timeline and activities.  With schedules, expectations and next steps.

Orientation for students will be from 10am -12pm

Please meet at the boom gate at the entrance of the carpark, to be chaperoned down to the boat.
