Dockside Activities Training

Time: Mon October 14, 9:00 am to Mon October 14, 12:00 pm

Available to Crew Volunteers Only

Crew: 12

Sometimes due to inclement weather or unexpected boat issues, we are not able top take the boat for a sail for safety reasons, but that doesn't mean our clients can't still come and have a great time.

In the past, our volunteers have done a great job keeping our clients entertained without leaving the dock. In fact, for some of them that would otherwise be strapped to their wheel chairs, dockside acitvities can be even more inclusive then heading out.

In order to share this experience and train all of our volunteers on how best to deliver dockside activites, Kathy and Renee will deliver a workshop on the 16th May.

We are limiting the number to 12 so that everyone can participate and managing logistics is simpler. Based on how this workshop goes, we will organise another soon after.

First in, best dressed.
