Wright of Passage Event Coordinator Needed (Volunteer)

Sailors with disAbilities Wright of Passage Youth Program is nearing the pinnacle of Stage 1!

With the Australian Wooden Boat Festival set for February 8th to the 11th 2019 it is all systems go at SWD as we prepare these youth to set sail for Hobart!

But we are in URGENT need of help!

We are seeking a volunteer event coordinator to work with us from now until the end of the festival.

This role will be specific to the Wright of Passage Project and the Australian Wooden Boat Festival.

You would need to be Sydney based and have the ability to offer some significant input over the coming weeks, working alongside our office staff to help coordinate the most crucial part of the project.

You will also need to be willing to be part of the FUN in Hobart as SWD will fly you down (Accommodation included) for the duration of the festival from the 7th to the 11th February where you will be SWD's contact person for logistics, coordination & promotion throughout the festival.

We need a go-getter who can jump into this with us for the next 6 weeks.

You will need to be an excellent communicator and have plenty of time available during this period.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a very unique and life changing program.

Think you can help? Please call us on 0421725170 to discuss.

Please also note that it is imperative that you have or can acquire a Working With Children Check. And if you are not already a member of SWD you would be required to become a member (cost is $44 for the year).
